Beef Shares

We are currently taking orders for fall beef shares! These will be ready for pick up in mid November.

Our family farm is located in Rising Sun, Maryland and we raise Maryland grass fed beef. We have being raising Angus cattle for over 25 years and have a strong commitment to our animals, our land, and to our customers.  We don't use any added steroids or hormones in our cattle. Our animals are robust and healthy, but they are also happy and that helps us deliver a superior product. We process beef at a USDA inspected facility and our beef is 28 day dry aged.

The prices shown below include ALL fees including butcher and processing.

Available for pick up or delivery in Rising Sun, Maryland or Charleston, South Carolina.

Shipping is not available for beef shares.

The first few questions you may ask are how much does it cost and how much am I getting? 

  • The total price for an Eighth Beef Share is $950 ($500 deposit + $450 due at pick up).

    • With our eighth beef share, you will receive approximately 65 lbs of our premium grass-fed beef.

    • Approximately 50% of that will be premium steaks, roasts, braising cuts, stew meat, and other cuts; the other 50% will be ground beef or burger patties.

    • You will need around 2 cubic feet for an Eighth Beef Share.

  • The total price for a Quarter Beef Share is $1,800  ($800 deposit + $1,000 due at pick up).

    • With our quarter beef share, you will receive approximately 125 lbs of our premium grass fed beef.

    • Approximately 50% of that will be premium steaks, roasts, braising cuts, stew meat, and other cuts; the other 50% will be ground beef or burger patties.

    • You will need around 4 cubic feet for a Quarter Beef Share.

  • The total price for a Half Beef Shares is $3,600 ($1,600 deposit + $2,000 due at pick up).

    • With our half beef share, you will receive approximately 250lbs of our premium grass fed beef, customized to fit your family’s needs.

    • Approximately 50% of that will be premium steaks, roasts, brisket, braising cuts, stew meat, and other cuts; the other 50% will be ground beef or burger patties. The cuts you receive will depend on your selections and the animal being processed.

    • You will need around 8 cubic feet for a Half Beef Share.

  • The total price for a Whole Beef Share is $7,200 ($2,000 deposit + $5,200 due at pick up)

    • With our whole beef share, you will receive approximately 525 lbs of our premium grass fed beef, customized to fit your family’s needs.

    • Approximately 50% of that will be premium steaks, roasts, brisket, braising cuts, stew meat, and other cuts; the other 50% will be ground beef or burger patties. The cuts you receive will depend on your selections and the animal being processed.

    • You will need around 16 cubic feet for a Whole Beef Share.

To secure your beef share:

  1. Complete the form below and we will reach out to you to collect deposit via credit card, check, or cash.

  2. Pay your deposit to reserve your animal; this will be deducted from the final balance.

  3. We will personally reach out to you via email to provide you with your customized Cut Sheet. Your Cut Sheet serves as your instruction guide for our processor, specifying how you'd like your animal to be butchered and detailing the cuts you'll receive in return. If this is your first experience with a beef quarter or if you would like assistance in tailoring the cuts to best suit your family's needs, feel free to schedule a call with us, and we will work together to fill out your Cut Sheet. We are here to help you.

  4. You will receive a message from us when your beef is ready, which will be approximately two weeks from your selected processing date. We will then arrange a time for you to come pick up your beef direct from our farm. 

  5. Your remaining balance will be due at pickup.
